Welcome to today's breathwork meditation. Today we're going to increase the intensity a little bit with some high intensity interval breathwork. Now I kind of made this up and the awakening breath that we're going to do today, done in intervals of a minute, can be so powerful to help us move through stuck emotions, awaken our body, awaken our heart, eliminate stress, move through tough situations and feel empowered. So I want to invite you to sit comfortably, but sit up nice and tall, lengthen through the crown of your head, close your eyes and connect with your breath, taking your intention for today's breathwork session and whatever you choose. Whatever intention you choose is perfect for you. Connect with that and allow any other thoughts to-dos, feelings that are not serving you, allow them to simply pass and come back to your breath.

Lunden Souza:

In 30 seconds we'll start our first round of awakening breath, and this is where we inhale. Reach our arms all the way up overhead, exhale, bend our arms, pull our elbows down into our sides and exhale through our nose. Inhale through the nose, exhale through the nose, reaching the arms up and pulling them down. This is quick and controlled. Remember, you can come back to your normal breathing at any time. Here we go. One minute of awakening breath starts now. Stay with this. Stay with your breath, inhale through the nose, exhale through the nose, using your arms to keep you focused, to keep you breathing. Stay with it. Just five, four, three, two, one. Relax your hands on your lap and enjoy that feeling.

And now let's get ready for our second round of Awakening Breath In five, four, three, two and one. Inhale, reach your arms up overhead, exhale, pulling them down. Keep going. Allow your breath to work with you and for you. Allow it to move. Any stuck emotions, any trapped feelings, any trapped trauma that is ready to go, Inhale, exhale through the nose. Last, five, four, three, two and one. Relax your arms down into your lap and enjoy that. Any thoughts that you don't want here right now, allow them to pass goodbye.

You set when you decided to do breath work, when you decided to do this session. Connect with that and let's get ready for our last round of Awakening Breath in three, two and one. Here we go Inhale, Stay with it. You got it. Allow your breath to do the work. Stay with your inhales, Stay with your exhales. You're doing great work. Last five, four, three, two and one. Release your hands into your lap and enjoy that and bring your hands over your heart and give thanks to you for doing the work. You're ready. You can open your eyes.
